On the Water

Non-Motorized crafts can be launched at three of our parks. On the Hudson River at Hudson River Park at the motorized launch site, or you may use our other small non-motorized car top launch locations on Glen Lake or at Feeder Canal Park.

Motorized boats can be launched and used on the Hudson River at Hudson River Park and other small non-motorized craft, canoes & kayaks, can use our car top launch on Glen Lake.

There is fishing access at three of our main town parks; Hovey Pond, Gurney Lane and Glen Lake. All three bodies of water are stocked annually by the Warren County Fish Hatchery. Youth fishing is encouraged at Hovey Pond and Gurney Lane, while Glen lake is open to all anglers. NYSDEC regulations apply. Other fishing sites include Feeder Canal Park and Hudson River Park and Meadowbrook Preserve on the Halfway Creek.
