Dogs in Town Parks
- Dogs are welcome in all town parks provided that they are under owner control at all times (verbal commands or leashed).
- However, we ask that all dogs be leashed while visiting:
- Halfway Brook Trail
- Hovey Pond
- Rush Pond Trail
- Additionally, we ask that dogs not be allowed on athletic fields or sporting courts.
- The Parks & Recreation Department will assist in facilitating a report to SPCA of Upstate NY, but has no enforcement authority - this service has been contracted to SPCA of Upstate NY (518)798-5656
Reminders
- Leashes are required at Hovey Pond Park, Halfway Brook Trail and Rush Pond Trail.
- Please keep your dog under your control, within sight and hearing distance while enjoying our trails.
- Please clean up after your dog and dispose of waste properly.

- Town of Queensbury contracts directly with SPCA of Upstate NY for Dog Control issues.
