Rush Pond Trail is a 2.6-mile long pathway through the heart of the Rush Pond wetlands and is the culmination of over ten years of work by Councilman John Trough. This byway is a link between the Gurney Lane Recreation Area, neighborhoods within the Aviation Road corridor, and the Queensbury School campus trail system. There are three hand-constructed bridges along the trail, the largest offering scenic views of the wetlands and stream life. Camping, swimming, and motorized vehicles are prohibited. |
Rush Pond Trail is popular for walking, running, and mountain biking. All ages and abilities find this trail system accessible! Parking lots at West Mountain Road/Gurney Lane and Fox Farm Road add to the convenience. And the view on the southernmost bridge is unbeatable!
Dogs must be leashed while using the trails at Rush Pond.
