What is Q-Club?
Q-Club is State Certified Summer Day Camp offering children a variety of passive and active recreational activities. These activities include indoor and outdoor games, arts n’ crafts, science, nature, drama and book clubs, as well as field trips. Children and staff alike, look forward to the annual Talent Show, Arts Festival and Q-Club Olympics! Each day is devoted to a different theme, whereby kids dress up, play games, create crafts and participate in special events surrounding each theme. Examples of past theme days include: Crazy Hair Day, Hawaiian Luau, Pajama Day, Blast From the Past Day, Celebrate America Day, Super Hero Day, Tie-Dye Day, Sports Day, Multi-Cultural Day, Water Day, Fashion Show Day, Kidz Pick Day, Cartoon Characters Day, International Soccer Day, Music Day, and much more!
What is a typical day like in Q-Club?
The Q-Club day is organized into 3 separate sessions, with 2 snack/drink breaks in between each session (one at 10:00 a.m. and a second at 11:00 a.m.) Each session starts out with a group announcement of the activities that will be played that session – the kids choose which activity they are interesting in playing. There is always a variety of choices each session. The staff is divided up into four color groups (red, yellow, blue, green), plus a group running Arts n’ Crafts. There’s always something for everyone!
