Q-Club
Q-Club is a certified summer day camp, regulated by the NYS Department of Health. The Q-Club program offers children ages 5-12 a chance to participate in a variety of passive and active recreational activities. The Q-Club day is organized into 3 separate sessions, with 2 snack/drink breaks in between each session (one at 10:00 am and a second at 11:00 am) Each session starts out with a group announcement of the activities that will be played that session – the kids choose which activity they are interesting in playing. When does Q-Club begin?
2023: Q-Club begins Monday July 3, 2023 due to capital projects on the school campus. These projects "address the district’s most immediate facility needs. This includes updates to aging infrastructure throughout the district’s school buildings, such as roofs and boilers. The project also includes district improvements, including the addition of a multi-use turf field, new playground equipment for WHBI and QES pool equipment upgrades".
Typically it runs the first Monday after high school graduation (the last Monday in June depending on how the calendar falls) and runs for 8 weeks.
What time can I drop off my child?
Children may be dropped off for daily activities beginning at 9:00 am each morning. Q-Club staff does not provide supervision before 9:00 am.
Where is Q-Club held?
Q-Club is held at the Queensbury School facilities.
How do we get to Q-Club?
All children must be dropped off and picked up at the program location. Children will only be relased to individuals listed on the child's authorized pickup list.
Are there field trips?
Yes! Q-Club Campers have the opportunity to explore many local recreation sites on field trips that go and return during the camp day, and trips that extend the camp day.
