Q-Club is state certified summer day camp offering children a variety of passive and active recreational activities. These activities include indoor and outdoor games, arts n’ crafts, science, nature, drama and book clubs. Children and staff alike, look forward to the annual Talent Show and Arts Festival. Each day is devoted to a different theme, whereby kids dress up, play games, create crafts and participate in special events surrounding each theme. Examples of past theme days include: Crazy Hair Day, Hawaiian Luau, Pajama Day, Blast From the Past Day, Celebrate America Day, Super Hero Day, Tie-Dye Day, Sports Day, Multi-Cultural Day, Water Day, Fashion Show Day, Kidz Pick Day, Cartoon Characters Day, International Soccer Day, Music Day, and much more!
What is a typical day like in Q-Club?
The Q-Club day is organized into 3 separate sessions, with 2 snack/drink breaks in between each session (one at 10:00 am and a second at 11:00 am) Each session starts out with a group announcement of the activities that will be played that session – the kids choose which activity they are interesting in playing. There is always a variety of choices each session. The staff is divided up into four color groups (red, yellow, blue, green), plus a group running Arts n’ Crafts (purple). There’s always something for everyone!

When does Q-Club begin?
2023: Q-Club begins Monday July 3, 2023 due to capital projects on the school campus. These projects "address the district’s most immediate facility needs. This includes updates to aging infrastructure throughout the district’s school buildings, such as roofs and boilers. The project also includes district improvements, including the addition of a multi-use turf field, new playground equipment for WHBI and QES pool equipment upgrades".
Typically it runs the first Monday after high school graduation (the last Monday in June depending on how the calendar falls) and runs for 8 weeks.
What time can I drop off my child?
Children may be dropped off for daily activities beginning at 9:00 am each morning. Q-Club staff does not provide supervision before 9:00 am.
Where is Q-Club held?
Q-Club is held at the Queensbury School facilities.
How do we get to Q-Club?
All children must be dropped off and picked up at the program location. Children will only be relased to individuals listed on the child's authorized pickup list.
Are there field trips?
Yes! Q-Club Campers have the opportunity to explore many local recreation sites on field trips that go and return during the camp day, and trips that extend the camp day.
Field trip registration is an additonal cost to the program and each trip's registration opens at 8am, 2 weeks prior to the trip date.
